Cute, right? Anyway, back in my romantic days the days before kids, I pulled off some really fun surprises for John. This one remains one of my favorites, so please, please, please feel free to steal the idea and surprise someone you love!
Here's what you'll need:
Hershey Kisses (be sure to buy at least 2 packages)
and this...
Now, cut the magnetic tape into tiny squares and stick the sticky side to the back of each of the Kisses. Yep, you're making edible magnets. Guess where you're going to put them?
Right here would be nice...
Now, make this Valentine's Day surprise complete with a note that reads:
"This Valentine's Day you won't get far because I left kisses all over your car!"
I told you this was a fun idea! You could do it anywhere...at home, at work, at school. Can you imagine the look on his face when he walks out of work to find his car covered? Not to mention it'd make for a nice little snack on the ride home.
Funny story...I actually did this for John when we were dating and it wasn't on Valentine's day. It was part of a scavenger hunt and it was August. If you've ever experienced an August day in Texas, you're probably laughing already. You guessed it...melted Hershey kisses were left all over his car! Boy, I should've thought that one through just a tad bit more. And, that's exactly why I pass on this surprise as a Valentine's idea...cold weather + Hershey kisses = love.
I'd love to bring creative ideas into your home's decor. Let's get started...contact me!
Oh my gosh, I love this idea!! My son would be ALL about helping with this, too! Picturing the melted chocolates cracked me up!:)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute idea Dana! I have to do this!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute, creative idea! I am always at a loss for good ideas, so I am so excited you posted this. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute idea! I feel like I should do it to a stranger though. How fun would that be in a very non creepy way... and my husband would definitely be on bored! It would help brighten my day if I had a surprise car full of chocolate!
ReplyDeleteCute idea Dana! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteSuch a creative idea. And the melted chocolates...too good. What a story.
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect im getting married Feb 9th 2013 with 50's, 60s, 70's/ Golden Oldies Theme. I wanna do this on the hopefully old skoo car we leave in! Thankyou. Any other ideas? The colors are Golden, Ivory, Royal Blue ( really had hard time finding Indigo instead of Royal Blue) if like vinyl record bowls.
