Every year my in-laws give me money for my birthday. I'm quick to stash that money in my secret wallet spot and let it hang out there until the perfect thing comes around. Somethings I have an idea of what that 'thing' is and other times I just wait for something to speak to me.
This year it was a 'speak to me' thing! I was shopping in Tuesday Morning and this Indian throw grabbed my attention. I have no idea why because it's so not me. I didn't buy it immediately. I went home and slept on it but couldn't shake it from my brain. So, the next day I went back and sang happy birthday as I made my purchase!
I've been moving it around the house trying to find the perfect spot. I've finally decided it needs to live in our master bedroom. Of course, this calls for a few changes so the look will be cohesive. Which brings me to this fun little fabric I ran across last week...
So, there's a couple yards of fabric headed my way via the mail. Stay tuned to see where it lands! Hopefully, this little project will be ready to share next week.
I hope you all have a blessed Easter weekend. We'll be huntin' eggs, eatin' chocolate and celebrating Christ. Does it get any better?!
oh my i love that throw!!!!!!! i need to chck my tuesday morning!
ReplyDeleteFab,fab, fabulous! :) That choice would have me debating for weeks! Happy Easter, sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteI love that fabric!! Do you know who makes it? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThat fabric is GORGEOUS! It's going to look amazing. I can't wait to see what you do with it!
ReplyDeleteI finally added you to my blogroll in my sidebar. Thanks for your comment today! Made my day!

It is gorgeous and I don't normally go for those. I usually try to leave the store and sleep on it...if I can. I can be so impulsive once I'm in the store. Later I wonder why did I buy that. But ... if I sleep on it and still want it enough to go back...I'm much happier later on. So pretty...good decision.
ReplyDeleteooooh you sassy thing you! Your new throw is so different and I LOVE it with that fabric!! How lovely that your in-laws always give you moolah - to spend however you'd like? To me that truly is a thoughtful gift. When do us moms ever make purchases just for fun? Hope you enjoy your new home addition :)
ReplyDeleteAnd happy, happy Easter to you and your family Dana!
these patterns are just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh I love that too! Glad you got it! Can't wait to see!
ReplyDeleteI had to get caught up but I love that throw and that fabric, yep, love! We don't have a Tuesday Morning near us but I've had friends get some great stuff from there. And I love the inspiration artwork from your other post too. Can you share the source for that fun fabric?
ReplyDeleteThe throw is pretty, Dana. I have had moments like these when I keep going back to something online or in a store because it has been "calling". It is usually the combination of colors that make me want to have it. This looks promising with the swatch.
ReplyDeleteLove that fabric, where did you order it from?
ReplyDeleteHere's the link where I ordered the fabric:
