Anyone know how to fix this?

Yikes! Apparently I have no more space in my storage. I'm a little, okay majorly, technically challenged. Is it possible to delete files without deleting them from my blog completely? From what I can tell, this isn't possible.

Is this Bloggers way of making something "free" that's not really free? Must I now upgrade and begin paying for storage?

Hang in there with me while I figure this out. If you have words of wisdom to share...please do!

Thanks!

  2. I'm not there yet, but I've been wondering about that, too. I'm about halfway. From what I've seen, I think you just have to pay, too. Ugh!!

  4. I am facing the SAME problem and found that if I host my pictures through another site (instead of uploading through iPhoto), it works fine. HOWEVER, it is WAY easier to upload as I always have done so I guess I'm looking at paying, too. If you find another alternative, do share!

  5. One way I have preserved my blog, I have printed it into a book form and right now, blog2print has 20% off ending today, which would make a book about $62.00 (I have printed off six so far) They will be Christmas presents. I have 2010 in a nice book, and 2011. Other than that I have no idea what to do I use blogger too and never had a problem yet.

  6. I re-size my photos before uploading them to my blog. I really don't need very big file sizes anyway. It saves a lot of room. That's the only way I've been able to keep going without paying for more storage. Best of luck!

  7. Oh ya, and I forgot to mention that you can re-size photos you've already uploaded to your blog by editing them from your picasa web album, which is where the blog photos are stored. It would take forever to re-size each photo, but if you have some time it may be worth it.

  8. I've seen this popping up a lot which I think is very ironic. You can host your photos elsewhere but I think it's just easier to keep using Picasa.
