Moving on...
Several months ago, I fell in love with a painting on etsy and decided to try my hand at recreating it. I

Well, yesterday I was on Anthropologie's site and guess what I ran across? That's right, they're selling Yangyang's art. Check it out...
If you know anything at all about Anthropologie, then you already know there's a hefty price tag attached to these beautiful paintings.
Well, friends, if high-priced art isn't in your budget then you're in luck because Yangyang's etsy shop is full of gorgeous prints that are very affordable!
These are some of my favorites...
If you're at all like me, with a short attention-span in your decor taste and interests, then framing up a few pretty prints is the way to go. This way there's no guilt attached when your new favorite artist comes on the scene and you're dying for a piece of their art!
If one of you lucky ducks ends up with a piece of Yangyang's art, you must send me a picture of it hanging in its new home.

i love the fun colors- i think those paintings just make me happy and add interest to a room.
Yours is an amazing recreation! The pieces are beautiful, maybe you'll try another one?! Thanks for the tip for those of us who aren't so masterful with a paint brush!
I think you did an awesome job with your painting! He does have some lovely art but I'm too cheap to buy any. ;) Maybe you could paint reproductions and sell them.
I am so impressed with your artwork - looks perfect. I love the colors these can lend to a space.
I had added that first painting to my Etsy favorites a while ago too - I loved it! And that is awesome that you made it your own. And you're going to think I'm crazy, but when I'm reading blogs at my office job your blog really doesn't show up in my Reader for some reason. It's the strangest thing ever - it only appears when I'm at home on the laptop or desktop.
