Random Act of Kindness #36

Show of hands...whose heart goes pidder padder when you see a sign like this?
Today you'll have a chance to share that exact same feeling of excitement and it won't cost you a cent!

RAK Challenge #36: Put something you no longer need on Craigslist's 'Free' spot.

Helpful hints:
*Shop your house for something worthy of the challenge
*Take a picture and post it.
*Place the item on your curb so your RAK recipient can come claim their prize!

It's a win/win situation, friends. You'll clear your house of a little clutter and a stranger will gain a treasure for free.

You know the drill...go out and be kind!

Random Act of Kindness #35

Today's RAK is all about chocolate and fun...does it get any better?! I ran across this idea on Pinterest and traced it back to Poppies at Play. It's such a cute idea that it definitely needs to be passed on.

RAK Challenge #35: Ding dong ditch a neighbor with a sweet treat!

On your next trip to the grocery store, pick up a box of Ding Dongs. Go home and print a tag...here's Andy's printable. Notice we doubled up and added a RAK card too?! Hopefully, this will help the fun to go on and on!

Pick your victim. Check out the blurry legs of Reed as he slithers up the steps!

Leave the treat on the porch, ring the doorbell and RUN, RUN, RUN!!!

Even through the blurriness of this picture you can still see the giant smiles on their faces!

We're no strangers to these types of activities. Remember the Easter version and Halloween, too?!

So much fun...I promise it's instant giggles!

It's your turn friends, go out and be kind!

Random Act of Kindness #30

Hopefully you all rose to the challenge last week and you've been putting away shopping carts every time you've gone shopping. This week's challenge involves putting something IN the shopping cart ~ Pajamas!

RAK challenge #30- Buy a new pair of pajamas and donate them to a shelter or a child in need.

I miss my college days when it was in style to wear your pajama bottoms to the grocery store. Nowadays, that would land you a spot on What Not to Wear and they'll end up throwing away your prized pajamas!

Yesterday, my kiddos' school sponsored a pajama drive and all the students were able to wear their own pajamas to school for collection day. They loved it and hopefully lots of jammies were collected for those sweet souls in need.

So, what do ya say, friends? Do you know of a Battered Women's Shelter or a Children's Home that could use a donation?

If so, it's time to spread some kindness.

Random Act of Kindness #28

Hey friends! Today's RAK challenge is an Easter edition and it's super fun. You get to egg someone! That's right, here's the sign to prove it...

RAK Challenge #28: Give someone an Easter surprise by 'egging' them!

Apparently, I'm a little late in the game because this idea seems to have been floating around the web for awhile now. If you're like me and haven't heard of this fun tradition, then I'll break it down for you.

1) Scoop up several dozen of the plastic eggs.
2) Fill them with treats. If you want to add a special little touch, the gals at eighteen 25 suggest writing fun little messages on slips of paper and adding those in the eggs as well.
3) Print the cute little sign above.
4) Sneak over to a neighbor's house and 'hide' the eggs in and around their yard.
5) Leave the sign on your neighbor's porch as you ring their doorbell and run like mad so you don't get caught!
6) Find a secret hiding place and watch the look of wonder on your neighbors' faces as they come outside to find that they've 'been egged.'

This is a super fun idea for the kids, but let's not forget mom. Pam, from Simple Details, shared a great idea on her blog last week. So simple and so pretty!

Hop on over and read her post for all the details. Wouldn't you love to open your door and find this on your porch?

Okay, friends, it's time to act fast because you only have a few days left to perform your secret acts of kindness!

Don't forget... free RAK card printables!
