"M" is for Miter Saw

Oh yes, friends, it's true. That is yours truly using a miter saw!! Can I just tell you how much fun it is to use this beast?!

I promised myself to learn how to use power tools this year and I'm well underway with making good on this promise. My husband and I are in full project mode. In fact, he's waiting on me to make a Home Depot run so I have to keep this post short and sweet. I'll leave you with a snippet of our progress.

Tape...the non-committal way to make sure you like it.

Yes, kids, geometry is important and yes, you will use it after high school.

The progress begins...can't wait 'til these babies make it to their new home.

Off to Home Depot now. More to come!

I'd love to help you create something fun in your own home, contact me, so we can get started!

I'm with Pam. Still in my PJs...on my couch. Tomorrow's the day I get back in action. Way to get a major jump start on your promise! Seriously cannot wait to see more progress. Hope the trip to Home Depot was very successful!

P.S. I told my dad as soon as I learn how to sew, I need some help learning about power tools. Thanks for the inspiration!

I'm excited to see this project - I worked my way backwards in posts so now I see the plan and it looks really good. Bravo to you for taking that saw on!

I'm still power tool shy, I must admit. Though I have a brad nail gun, which was fun ... and I'm anxious to use it again.

I saw you over at the "Before & After" party -- how genius is that concept -- and was hoping you could also join our month-long "Imagine the Impossibilities" challenge. You can find more about it here ...

... and it all culminates at a multi-blog Jan 31 link party!

Hope you can join us!
