Wow! You've got to love shock value if you're willing to go as far as a pink Christmas tree. Really? I'm all about doing things in a non-traditional fashion at times, but several of these choices would be a big stretch! Out of control, friends, out of control! If these trees toot your horn, you can find them at Christmas Tree Market.
I'm sure we'll be finding ourselves a real tree again this year, just not one we get to personally cut down. We'll pray for rain and hopefully our tradition will continue next year!

I've always thought a white tree would be fun! I can imagine it decorated with clear bulbs, some silver, white lights. I think it would be pretty.
I agree with Stephanie, I've wanted a flocked tree forever, but since ours is pre-lit that wasn't an option. :( I've seen a lot of black this year, but the second I say it's not my style an incredible one will show up on a blog!
I like the white tree but i saw a purple one at walmart i was like really?? lol
I heard about this on the radio the other day....Sorry! I lost a full grown tree in my yard this year, thanks crazy drought! I say a prelit tree would be wonderful!
About 5 years ago my husband and I decided to buy a white tree and decorate in monochrome tones. It was truly stunning. I guess I will have to post pictures of it.
I have said for decades I would never get an artificial tree--but times change, and so do we!! After a shoulder and knee injury wiped me out, I realized it was going to be difficult to do the whole putting it in the stand, getting it in the right spot, lights and all...whew! So I bought an artificial one at an after Christmas sale because it was 90% off--too good to pass up! A few years later, I moved and left behind all my 23 boxes of Christmas decorations and the tree--I could take only what fit into my compact car, and I HAD to have most of my craft supplies, so Christmas was gone for me for awhile. Then I worked retail for a few years and acquired a purple flocked tree for free! Last year I put it up, put a fairy Barbie on top and made a few snowman ornaments and voila!! It looked so cute and everyone loved it-I acquired more purple stuff at the after Xmas sales also, so this year it will be great! So though I never would have thought so, a purple Christmas tree WAS just what I had always wanted!! Life is strange, but it is also wonderful!!
I"m fron New England and I've been living in Florida for about 16 years. I miss the snow covered trees so this year after I finished decorating my old fake Christmas tree I bought 3 bags of snow (sherdded plastic that looks like snow, sold at Walmart))and I took handsful of the stuf and threw it on the tree. It is magnificent. I LOVE the look. it looks just like a beautiful decorated tree outside in Boston.
I will never have a plain tree again.
Harri-how well did it work out over the whole holidays? I mean, in my house there would probably be fake snow EVERYWHERE!! Did it stay mostly on the tree where it still looked good? Because I always love the way snow clumps on fir trees, and I love the trees that are tall and skinnier and look more like a real tree would, plus the ornaments show up better on the sparser trees! I think I may have totry your idea next year!!
